You can use a regular or low-profile boxspring or a Bunkie board with this bed frame. It just depends on how high you want the bed and how much of the headboard you prefer to be hidden.

Bunkie boards do not come with the beds. You will have to purchase this separately.

Is there a liner/protector/valet made for the small/hidden drawers?
I'm concerned about keys or other small/sharp objects scratching the interior finish of the small/hidden drawers. Is there a valet or even a simpler type of liner/protector offered for these?
